There are many in need children in Screven County, Georgia. Many families who struggle to simply put food on the table and provide daily essential for their children. Our founder Mrs. Mildred (Mickey) Boyd of Sylvania, Georgia started Christmas Toys for Angels about 2013 when she was gifting Christmas toys to her grandchild. she noticed and heard of children without gifts, with families unable to get them anything. she began fundraising and asking for donations to get those children at least a gift. What started off small began to grow and expand.  After 8 years of running with minimal assistance from a few friends, Mrs. Mickey realized she needed help to do more.  She began talking to and working with other to help to reach more children. In August of 2021, Holiday Toys for Angels was formed and registered with the state of Georgia to help this vision to continue, the name voted and chosen by new reorganized leadership. This name was chosen to be more inclusive to all people and other holidays and celebrations of culture. We are registered as Holiday Toys for Angels of Sylvania we do accept application for all surrounding area of Screven County such as Millen, Statesboro, Augusta, and more. We are continuing to learn more about others and expand our services to cover all walks of life. We welcome all people and show respect to all.
